What Nearby Ally is
Nearby Ally is a Bay Area pilot service that arranges calm, platonic companion support for everyday moments — appointments, errands, waiting rooms, walks, events, and body doubling. Nearby Ally is a non-clinical, non-emergency, non-professional service.
Platonic only
Nearby Ally is strictly platonic. It is not a dating, romantic, sexual, escort, or companionship-for-intimacy service. Requests of that nature will be declined.
Not for emergencies, crisis, medical, legal, or therapy
Nearby Ally does not provide emergency response, crisis intervention, medical care, legal advice, therapy, counseling, security, bodyguard, restraint, or conflict intervention services. If you are in danger, call 911 or contact a qualified professional or crisis line.
Request review
Every request is reviewed before it is confirmed. Submitting a request does not guarantee a session.
Nearby Ally may decline requests
Nearby Ally reserves the right to decline any request — at any time, for any reason — including requests that appear unsafe, unclear, outside pilot boundaries, or inconsistent with platonic-only use.
Your responsibility
You agree to provide accurate, truthful information when submitting a request. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the activity you are inviting a companion to.
Public places preferred
During the pilot, Nearby Ally prefers public places. Private-location requests may be declined or require additional review.
Pricing
Pilot pricing is shown on the landing page. Final pricing may vary by distance, timing, location, and request type. Pilot availability is limited.
Limitation of service
Nearby Ally is offered “as is” during the pilot. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nearby Ally disclaims any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or available in any particular location or timeframe.
